COMUNIS Guidelines

The COMUNIS guidelines are intended as a practical handbook for actors at local and regional level. They were developed to assist communities and regions in planning and implementing inter-municipal CLD policies, and describe possible options for actions, methods and tools for the various working steps, and tools for cost-benefit-comparison and the assessment of environmental impacts.

The annex of the COMUNIS guidelines contains practice examples of how to use different instruments and tools in the context of commercial location development (CLD). It also describes and documents practice examples of implemented approaches of inter-municipal CLD
