SEREC

SEREC is a private association which members are communes, regions, cantons and private institutions for consulting and training. It’s aim is to coach public entities and institutions of the Civil Society (NGOs) in their task for territorial development and good governance, which means:

  • build on local resources
  • valorize actual potentials
  • launch sustainable dynamics
  • coach sustainable processes
  • intervene on demand
  • create conditions for continuous knowledge exchanges

 

SEREC works on following topics

  • local and regional development
  • sustainable management of territories and resources
  • implementation and management of cooperations:
    • intercommunal - regional - cantonal
    • international (transborder, north - south)
    • intersectorial included between private and public institutions
    • business to business (commodity chains management, enterprise networks)
  • organization of knowledge exchange (study trips, communities of practice)

 

SEREC offers it’s support in following domains:

  • analysis / planning / conception / strategy
  • animation / moderation / mediation
  • Project management
  • coordination between multiples actors (role of project / team leader)
  • management of non profit organizations and NGOs
  • Knowledge management (capacity building, organization of training sessions and workshops)
  • coaching (backstopping)
