The transnational conference will be organised by Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning in Maribor, Slovenia on 19th and 20th of April 2010
The conference will address:
Development potentials
What are the territorial development potential (awareness, knowledge, approaches and practices used to examine regional territorial potentials; assets, comparative advantages, territorial handicaps, etc)?
Releasing potentials
Identifying needs for cooperation based on territorial potentials,
assets, comparative advantages and identified weaknesses of regions;
Cooperation
Generating innovative proposals of actions for drawing on the identified potentials of our territories;
Stimulating concrete and innovative proposals for future co-operation activities
Enhancing exchange of experience, knowledge and information among stakeholders;
Speakers
Representatives of different stakeholders, administrations, networks, researchers, policy sectors, co-operation bodies, territorial cooperation programmes will present their views and will be engaged in a discussion with the participants.
Participants
Representatives of transnational networks, organizations and
transnational programme bodies, stakeholders, national and regional
authorities, research institutions and all actors interested in
transnational territorial cooperation.
Fee
There is no partitipation fee.
Working Language
The conference will be conducted in English.
